:I think they are just creating placeholder pages to fill in later, but I agree they are spamming recent changes. I know from using FANDOM that there is a "minor edit" feature on MediaWiki which hides edits from recent changes, so maybe they could use that (although, seeing the earlier topics on this page, I don't think they'll ever see this message of mine...).
