easy way to find the step sizes of mos scales in edos
- in 29 edo if i want a mos generated by 13/10, which is 11/29 or 18/29
we have 1L 1s
from there you can do the child mos operation repeatedly which is pretty easy since it's just substractions
L - s = c
18 - 11 = 7
11 - 7 = 4
7 - 4 = 3
4 - 3 = 1
3 - 1 = 2
2 - 1 = 1
1 - 1 = 0
from there you can also find the mos scale signature itself by looking at the hardness
(if the ratio is soft-of-basic the child of xLys will be (x+y)Lxs and if it's hard of basic the child will be (x)L(x+y)s)
1L1s 18:11 is soft so the child is 2L1s
2L1s 11:7  (soft)
3L2s 7:4 (soft)
5L3s 4:3 (soft)
8L5s 3:1 (hard)
8L13s 2:1 basic and the next mos is equalized
