Progress report
- What was your path to discovering alternate tunings?
- A couple years ago, I was introduced to Jacob Collier, AKA musical Jesus. His arrangement of In The Bleak Midwinter obviously astonished me, and I slowly started to get more into the idea of quarter tones. Eventually, I found more things, I found this wiki, and now I'm sucking Erv Wilson's toes.
- What are your current/past/future particular interests?
- I've made a framework for Orwell(22), I've enjoyed looking at various good temperaments (kleismic, neominor, semaja, etc), and my EDOs of choice are 15, 19, 31, 34, and 50EDO.
- What instruments or means have you had/do you have now/do you want for the making of microtonal music?
- I just have my voice & Reaper at the moment, but I'm hoping eventually to get microtonal pianos/keyboards or microtonal mallet instruments.
