FloraC, you seem to have a very clear idea of the structure of the topic. I have difficulties to understand how it works in detail. What would you suggest how to approach it? Where to start? --Xenwolf (talk) 11:38, 24 October 2020 (UTC)

: My approach to the structure of such families/clans is to view them as trees. First there's a root. Adding a comma to it extends it to the next prime limit. Adding different commas makes branches, with which I tend to use the next level of header so that the hierarchy is clear.
: I also noticed different logics in these pages. E.g. in meantone family, a number of 11-limit extensions which split the period (namely octave) into two are placed together. FloraC (talk) 15:17, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
:: I must admit that at first I only had a problem with the heading structure, but in truth I have a massive problem understanding how to get from a comma to a family or clan of temperaments. You know, there is no description of the technical details, not even the attributes of a given temperament - comma(s), POTE generator, map, wedgie, EDOs, badness - are summarized and presented in a way that most musicians can understand. I would like to present this information (after I understand it) on the page Temperament families and clans. Could you imagine to help me with this? --Xenwolf (talk) 15:59, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
