Neutral may refer to:
- Neutral (interval quality), an interval quality used to describe intervals in the middle between major and minor.
- Neutral second, an interval between the minor and major second
- Neutral third, an interval between the minor and major third
- Neutral sixth, an interval between the minor and major sixth
- Neutral seventh, an interval between the minor and major seventh
- Neutral temperament, a member of the rastmic clan; see also Chromatic pairs #Neutral. Scales generated by the neutral temperament are sometimes called "neutral scales".
- Neutral third scales, scales which contain an exact or approximate perfect fifth, and a neutral third which divides the fifth exactly in half. Also sometimes called "neutral scales".
