Fredg's suggestion was much more popular than any other proposal. In a poll in the #wiki channel, it received 10 votes while no other option received more than 5 votes. (Each voter was allowed to vote for more than one option to prevent the spoiler effect.)

The only other option that got a decent number of votes (5) was merging all the the short skip fretting pages into one big page in user space.

Still, Fredg's suggestion won out so for now I will begin implementing that. If the community comes to a consensus on something else, I'll change direction and do that instead, but for now I'll merge the pages into their relevant EDO page.

Do note that I'm only doing this with the short skip fretting pages. I'm leaving the longer more detailed ones as separate pages in main space since this poll and discussion were not about those - only about the short ones.

:: I have now merged 21 of the 23 pages into their respective EDO pages.

:: The other 2 consist of only diagrams, and I believe the diagrams need to be made more polished before being moved into main space, so I have left those 2 pages untouched except for a todo mbox.

:: A third page also had a diagram, so I merged the text content, but left the original user page up too with a todo:add illustration mbox.

:: So, my part in all this is done now, 20/23 pages completely merged, 1/23 partially merged, 3/23 awaiting upgraded diagrams.
