Template documentation[view] [edit] [history] [purge]

This template is used to indicate what subgroup a particular equal temperament tuning is being treated as.

To get this to work, create a "Notes" section on the desired page and put <references group="note" /> below the header (if this hasn't already been done). Enclose the template in a reference tag: e.g. <ref group="note">{{subgroup note|limit=5-limit}}</ref> to get it to show up under the Notes section.

Note: You can use {{sg}} as a shortcut.

Parameters

{{{1}}}
Accepts one unnamed parameter, which indicates the tuning in question.
limit
The prime-limit of the tuning indicated (e.g. "5-limit", "7-limit", "2.3.7-subgroup", etc.)
