13-limit

Has someone actually tried to use 10edo in 13-limit music? (I know 31edo is better but 10edo is smaller)

Quality of 10 EDO

Does anyone else think that 10, at least the way ZIA and Sethares use it, sounds middle-eastern?

Totally. It's the 3L4s scale, with the neutral 3rd generator, also found in 17, 24, 27, and 31-EDO (among others), sometimes known as "mohajira".
