English Wikipedia has an article on:

The About template creates a disambiguation hatnote. It is used at the beginning of a page when the name of a primary topic conflicts with one or more other topics. It can also be used when two or more topics have similar names and meanings, and the distinction between the names and/or the meanings is not obvious enough to use Template:Distinguish.

Usage

This implementation supports three optional parameters.

1=
Description of the primary topic ("This page is about …"). It may be left blank if the signification of the primary topic is obvious.
2=
What the other page is about ("For ..."). If unused or blank, defaults to "For other uses".
3=
The title of the first other page ("see ..."). If unused, this defaults to the page title followed by "(disambiguation)".
