Taxicab distance

This seems like it should have a taxicab distance of 3, since using the method described in the table on the page taxicab distance, it breaks down to 3 * 5 / 13 —> 3 components, taxicab distance 3.

Ignoring 3s, it has a distance 2, or pretending 15 is prime, it also has a distance 2, but neither of those seems as if it would be too common of a thing to do?

Should it really be in the taxicab-2 category? It seems like it shouldn’t. Am I misunderstanding how all this works?

You're right. 15/13 has taxicab distance 3 and shouldn't be in Category: Taxicab-2 intervals. FloraC (talk) 14:24, 1 December 2024 (UTC)
