1-3-5-17 stellated hexany
The simplest possible 17-odd-limit stellated Hexany. This creates a scale of 1 17/16 5/4 85/64 3/2 51/32 15/8 255/128 2/1, with steps of 17/16 20/17 17/16 96/85 17/16 20/17 17/16 256/255. This only adds two notes to the base hexany. Like the 1-3-5-15 stellated hexany, this is a detemper of the hungarian minor scale. However, in this one the two major seventh chords are separated by 17/16 instead of 16/15, which means there is a microtone of 256/255 added in rather than directly duplicating a note. This is still close together enough that the result of playing the two notes together is a chorus effect rather than a dissonance, making this more flexible overall and still not particularly xenharmonic.
