The counterschisma is a 5-limit unnoticeable comma measuring about 1.66 cents. While the schisma is the difference between the Pythagorean comma and the syntonic comma, the counterschisma, in contrast, is the difference between the 41-comma and the syntonic comma. It is also the difference between the 53-comma and the schisma. Tempering it out leads to counterschismic temperament.
