William Copper is a composer of contemporary classical music and a theorist interested in just intonation.

He describes his approach as "intonalism", inventing the term and the set of processes during the period 2009-2016. His opera L'elisir d'amore (2018) is the first full-length opera written fully in just intonation and according to intonalism.
