It can be used as a dark generator for 17L 2s, for which its just value comes very close to producing the basic version of this scale, being only 0.185 ¢ flat of 17\36; likewise, its octave complement 62/43 (in the 2.31.43 subgroup) can be used as a bright generator for the same scale, being only 0.185 ¢ sharp of 19\36.
