Hey!  I don't know about you, but when I write diatonic harmonies, I prefer my major scale to be written in a system utilizing the following ratio series or its approximations: 1/1, 9/8, 5/4, 4/3, 3/2, 27/16, 15/8, 2/1.  Yes, I use a fixed pitch system approximating these ratios.  Any thoughts? --[[User:Aura|Aura]] ([[User talk:Aura|talk]]) 03:52, 27 December 2022 (UTC)

Hi. Sorry to butt in, but in your user page, you mention that "[xenharmonic] doom metal ... doesn't exist." Maybe you meant JI doom metal, but xen (edo) doom metal does exist. Cryptic Ruse has some really droney doomy stuff, and some more progressive doomy stuff, but definitely primarily doom metal, and he's been around for years. There are a few other xen metal artists that have some doom-metally songs, too, but I'd say not primarily doom metal.

Yeah, I probably meant JI Doom Metal. :D Thanks, though, I'll check this out! ResonantFrequencies (talk) 02:00, 2 July 2019 (UTC)

JI, EDOs and diatonic harmony
