groundfault is a xenharmonic music theorist and host of the podcast Xendergarten. She has contributed the following innovations to xen theory:
- Aberrismic theory, a theory of scales obtained by modifying a given melodic scale pattern by adding steps smaller than those in the original scale, called aberrisma steps. Diasem, blackdye, and diamech are some scales that result from doing this modification to the diatonic MOS.
- Zeta peak integer edos, the pure-octave counterpart for zeta peak edos.
- Dual-fifth tunings
