6afdo (arithmetic frequency division of the octave), or 6odo (otonal division of the octave), divides the octave into six parts of 1/6 each. As a scale it may be known as mode 6 of the harmonic series or the Over-6 scale. It is an effective system that contains several useful intervals such as 7/6, 4/3 and 3/2 although it lacks a major third on its root position.
Budjarn Lambeth calls it the Freeway scale.
