The 37-limit consists of just intonation intervals whose ratios contain no prime factors higher than 37. It is the 12th prime limit and is a superset of the 31-limit and a subset of the 41-limit.

These things are contained by the 37-limit, but not the 31-limit:

  • The 37- and 39-odd-limit;
  • Mode 19 and 20 of the harmonic or subharmonic series.
