: I know there is a debate about whether tritave-equivalence, pentave-equivalence, etc. actually exist. Personally, I can’t hear tritave equivalence. I can only hear octave, 4ve, and 8ve equivalence. But even though I can’t hear it, it’s a fact that people have made music using tritave, pentave, etc. equivalence as a theoretical framework. So if people have made music using this idea, I think it should still count, even if I personally can’t hear it. | |||
