It can contain not only some introductory words about you, but also links and other personal tools. It also automatically links to the User contributions page. Your user page is linked in the history of pages you edited and in the recent changes page. The corresponding discussion page (this page in your case) is a good place to get (publicly) into contact with the author.
By the way, is there anything in 14edo that you composed that people can listen to somewhere?
