::In the <code>wikispaces</code> era, there were soft redirects and hard redirects, but not regular redirects. After migration to MediaWiki era, the FREEZE engine turned hard redirects to regular redirects, which didn't exist in <code>wikispaces</code>. The MediaWiki hard redirect, which exploits the way interlanguage travel works, does not have a backwards link and is safe to double–redirect (like <code>wikispaces</code>) but is not limited to admins and can link to a section (unlike <code>wikispaces</code>).
