A jubilismic chord is an essentially tempered chord tempered by the jubilisma, 50/49. There are two jubilismic chords available in the 7-odd-limit, and an additional one in the 9-odd-limit, all being palindromic tetrads involving the semi-octave which stands in for 7/5~10/7:
- 1–5/4–7/5–7/4 with steps 5/4, 8/7, 5/4, 8/7;
- 1–6/5–7/5–12/7 with steps 6/5, 7/6, 6/5, 7/6;
- 1–9/7–7/5–9/5 with steps 9/7, 10/9, 9/7, 10/9.
See Jubilismic family #Jubilismic for a list of equal temperaments with these chords.
Undecimal jubilismic chords
An undecimal jubilismic chord is an essentially tempered chord of undecimal jubilismic (formerly known as jubilee), with intervals in the tonality diamond of the 11-odd-limit. Since 50/49 and 99/98 are tempered out, undecimal jubilismic temperament supports jubilismic chords, mothwellsmic chords, and ptolemismic chords. There are also undecimal jubilismic chords which are none of these, the essentially undecimal jubilismic chords:
- 1–7/6–11/8–5/3 with steps 7/6, 7/6, 6/5, 6/5;
- 1–7/6–11/8–3/2–5/3 with steps 7/6, 7/6, 12/11, 10/9, 6/5, and its inverse
- 1–12/11–9/7–3/2–9/5 with steps 12/11, 7/6, 7/6, 6/5, 10/9;
- 1–7/6–11/8–3/2–5/3–11/6 with steps 7/6, 7/6, 12/11, 10/9, 10/9, 12/11.
