Line 1: Line 1:
A [[13-odd-limit]] [[Hexany]] comprised entirely out of prime numbers. This creates a scale of 1 13/12 7/6 13/10 7/5 91/60 2/1, with steps of 13/12 14/13 39/35 14/13 13/12 120/91. All the steps are well over 100 cents, so they are all melodically distinct, but there is still one step of almost 500 cents, leaving a wide gap at one end of the scale. Despite this shortcoming, it does still have above average potential for producing good scales when expanded out to a dekany.
