That's why, in the brief history you refer to (which I wrote), I used the word "pioneers" to distinguish them from the people in the next paragraph. So if George were to be included, I would include him along with Dave, Graham, Paul, etc., not among the "pioneers". And while I'm deeply involved in Sagittal notation, and so I would say that I'm a George fan more than the average person, I'm not convinced that it's the right thing to do to include him in that very short list. I feel like George Secor should certainly be mentioned here.
Also, it seems nicer to either expand this page into a brief historical overview, or just merge it into the section Regular_temperament#A_brief_history.
