This is a long-running site that actually involved from pre-World Wide Web groups that met in person, and over the postal mail. (!).
We just went and made this. Because when you sign up for an account, it asks you to agree to this page, and this page was blank. lol.

We are devoted to spreading useful knowledge of microtonal music, in all forms and genres.
Wording is from back and forths with Kite, Jacob, Stephen W, and was approved by site hosters Mike B. and Tyler.

We do welcome newcomers, as long as they don't cause problems, and are respectful. To that end, please play nice.
When I've brought up before on the Facebook group about adding something like this, people who don't have much skin in the game (non-editors and rarely-editors) SCREECHED at me and called me all kinds of names.

And remember, this site is run by volunteer contributors who are actual humans with real lives and stuff.
So people who actually edit a lot discussed it one on one and came up with this.

Basically the only rules here are:
If you're not one of the people involved in this, Please do not edit the TOS page, please offer suggestions on this page.

--We have a 1-strike rule for anyone intentionally doing destrtive behaviour. (Like blanking a page, calling people names, etc.) Do that and you're gone for good.

--At some point, someone will someone invariably edit someone else's work in a way the other person doesn't like. This is expected, and can be resolved by reasonable people.

But if you do this repeatedly in a way that causes strife, if it makes you more of a burden and less of an asset, you're gone for a year. After a year you can re-apply, explain how you've changed,  and we will reevaluate.

Thank you, and if you find the site useful, please tell two friends.

We just went and made this. Because when you sign up for an account, it asks you to agree to this page, and this page was blank. lol.

Wording is from back and forths with Kite, Jacob, Stephen W, and was approved by site hosters Mike B. and Tyler.

When I've brought up before on the Facebook group about adding something like this, people who don't have much skin in the game (non-editors and rarely-editors) SCREECHED at me and called me all kinds of names.

So people who actually edit a lot discussed it one on one and came up with this.

If you're not one of the people involved in this, Please do not edit the TOS page, please offer suggestions on this page.
