The volcanic glass scale is a 10-tone, 4/1-repeating scale and a subset of the darkstone[7] scale. It was constructed by Budjarn Lambeth in May 2026.
It could probably be used in other magic family temperaments too, though darkstone's flat fifth (the result of tempering 36/35 does give it a particularly distinct sound.
