The High priority template displays a message box to inform readers of pages that are often seen by new users. It also places the page in Category:High-priority pages.
This template should be used on talk pages, in order to avoid cluttering pages as seen by visitors, considering that the message is targeted towards editors.
Usage
Simply add

to the top of a page's associated talk page, which shows

This is a page deemed to be of high priority for the Xenharmonic Wiki, due to being heavily trafficked by new users, easily accessed from the main page or sidebar, or a combination of the two. Major edits made to this page will be more disruptive than to others, and poor quality of writing or information given will stand out more here than elsewhere. As a result, it has been semi-protected to prevent vandalism.
