Mabila has been used to refer to two regular temperaments, which combine into semabila, defined by tempering out 49/48 and 28672/28125 in the 7-limit. The term mabila however refers strictly to these following restrictions, both of higher accuracy than semabila:
- 5-limit mabila temperament, head of the mabila family
- 2.5.7 subgroup mabilic temperament (formerly known ambiguously as "mabila")
