Jake Freivald is the VP of Product Marketing for a software company, the founding editor of very-short-fiction online magazine Flash Fiction Online, and a dabbler in music composition.

Freivald has been making microtonal music since at least 2011. Equal tunings he has explored include 11edo, 13edo, 17edo, 22edo, 31edo, 37edo, 41edo and 46edo. Other tunings he has explored include 13-limit subsets of the harmonic series and the meantone and porcupine temperaments among others.
