The 6L 2s Echidna mapping has fewer repeated notes while still providing the full gamut, giving you a range almost as large as the standard mapping. (This mapping, like many others, is available from the Lumatone Facebook group.) Bryan Deister demonstrates this mapping in 58edo improv (2025).

Bryan Deister has demonstrated the secant 6L 2s (9:2 step ratio) mapping for 58edo in 58edo improv (2026-10-07). The rightward generator 9\10 is a slightly sharp ptolemaic whole tone ~10/9, and the octave is divided in half; three of these stack to make a sharp undecimal major fourth ~11/8; going down from a semioctave above the root note, one generator (now one key left) makes a somewhat flat undecimal (pentacircle) major third ~14/11; and going down by another makes a somewhat flat septimal major second ~8/7. The range is four octaves with a gentle upwards slope, no missed notes, and a few repeated notes.

Bryan Deister has demonstrated a pseudo-isomorphic pseudo-diatonic mapping for 58edo that uses the flat fifth diatonic layout of 59edo, with note 58 being a duplicate of note 0, in [58edo groove (2025).
