208/207, the vicetone comma is a 23-limit superparticular comma measuring about 8.34 cents. It forms the difference between 9/8 (Pythagorean whole tone) and 26/23 (vicesimotertial whole tone). It is also the amount by which 13/9 exceeds the octave-reduced 23rd harmonic (23/16).
Etymology
The word vicetone was introduced by Xenllium in 2023. It is a contraction of vicesimotertial whole tone into a single word.
