I think "continuum" is a bad name for this because only the lines with rational slope are actually temperaments - and the temperaments get more complex the more complex the slope gets as a rational number. It's not actually a "continuum" because if it were, you'd be able to talk about the line with slope sqrt(2) or pi or whatever. I don't think there's any way to make those make sense.

I suggest something with "detempering" in the name, maybe like "pencil of detemperings" or something. —Keenan Pepper (talk) 22:12, 14 April 2021 (UTC)
