Circle diagram.

A 7-limit bihexany. This creates a scale of 1 21/20 9/8 7/6 5/4 63/50 27/20 7/5 3/2 63/40 7/4 9/5 2/1, with steps of 21/20 15/14 28/27 15/14 126/125 15/14 28/27 15/14 21/20 10/9 36/35 10/9. This is the next most obvious way of expanding out the base hexany that puts a 9/8 above the root. This is a moderate improvement on the 3-5-7-15_by_9/8_bihexany, with the starling comma replacing the marvel comma as the smallest interval, which is the only step that is too small to be melodically useful. It does have harmonic use though, as it gives you the ability to demonstrate the difference between pure major thirds and 12edo ones and how that small shift can increase or decrease the amount of tension in your chords. The largest step is also mildly reduced in size, making this scale more even overall.
