Lumatone mapping for 8ed4/3

Revision as of 08:41, 23 October 2025 by Lucius Chiaraviglio (talk | contribs) (Try to see if Navbox Lumatone has been fixed to handle non-octave tunings)

Potentially many ways exist to map 8ed4/3 to the Lumatone; however, since this is a non-octave tuning, the Standard Lumatone mapping for Pythagorean is not one of them.

Unnamed temperament 1L 4s (4/3-equivalent) mapping

Bryan Deister has demonstrated a mapping of 8ed4/3 using a 1L 4s (4/3-equivalent) scale (oriented nearly vertically) having a 4:1 step ration, in 8ed(4/3) improv (2025).

Todo: complete page, Need a Navbox Lumatone that doesn't try to insert Lumatone mapping for non-octave tuning pages into the Lumatone mapping for EDO pages.
