Original Wikitext content:
After his conservatory studies in the Netherlands, Jeroen Thesseling (born April 13, 1971) recorded two microtonal pieces with six-string bass guitar; 'HAFNIUM' - study in 72tET (1999), 'ARGON' - study in 18tET (2000). Since many years Thesseling has been inspired by the works of American composer Morton Feldman (1926-1987). Further on into his career, he started using 7-string fretless bass guitar with a sub-contra tuning, pushing the instrument in the direction of contemporary classical minimalism and exploring it's dark, abstract formats. **[[@http://jeroenthesseling.com]]**
