After his conservatory studies in Enschede, the Netherlands, **Jeroen Paul Thesseling** (born April 13, 1971) recorded two pieces for 6-string electric bass. Throughout his musical career he focussed often on microtonal and contemporary classical music and has been inspired by the work of **Wolfgang Rihm,** **Salvatore Sciarrino** and **Morton Feldman**. Further on into his career, Jeroen started playing 7-string fretless basses with sub-contra F#-tuning.
