American Festival of Microtonal Music

The American Festival of Microtonal Music (AFMM), directed by Johnny Reinhard, has been presenting microtonal concerts and promoting microtonal musicians since 1981. Recordings from these live concerts are collected and curated on the PITCH CD label.

On September 5, 2021, the AFMM inaugurated Microtonal University (MU), a virtual university focused on microtonal music theory and practice.
