Sirius B is a nonoctave (specifically fifth-equivalent) temperament which is defined in the half-prime subgroup of 3/2.5/2.7/2. It tempers out 3125/3087. Its generrator can be identified with a tempered 25/21, and two of them make a tempered 7/5. The name was coined by CompactStar in 2024, and refers to the similarity to Sirius temperament, which tempers out the same comma and is also generated by 25/21, but repeats at the tritave. It is connected to the fifth-equivalent microdiatonic scale.
