Article merger?

If I am reading the article correctly, then this refers to nonoctave scales in general (except for possibly excluding Ed4, Ed8 and so on), with the orthogonal type corresponding to integer periods and the diagonal type corresponding to non-integer periods. So this would not really need it's own article and could be merged into the nonoctave article.

Also, not related to the above, but if the author sees this, what is the EDF-based "cycle of 5/4s" temperament referred to? Is it simply the 3/2.5/4 subgroup as a rank-2 temperament? Or is it some temperament in a greater subgroup that is generated by ~5/4. CompactStar (talk) 04:36, 4 February 2024 (UTC)
