**Carl Lumma** (b. 1977) is a man with varied interests, including: energy policy and nuclear engineering, macroeconomics, game theory and mechanism design, artificial intelligence and cognitive computing, haptics and UX design, music theory and psychoacoustics, music composition, and the game of chess.
