There are many standard notations for octave-equivalent scales like ups and downs notation for EDO interval names, FJS for JI interval names, TAMNAMS for MOS scale and step ratio names, etc., but there are not many similar notations for non-octave scales. Here I will outline some similar notations to ups and downs notation and TAMNAMS for fifth and tritave-equivalent scales, the most common non-octave scales.
