23edl

23EDL (equal divisions of string length) is the scale constructed by dividing a string on a stringed instrument into 23 equal parts by length. It is a utonal scale.

Unlike an IFDO, 23EDL is a nonoctave scale, because 22EDL corresponds to 11ifdo, 24EDL corresponds to 12ifdo, but odd EDLs like 23 do not have an octave period.

23EDL is necessarily a 23-limit just intonation scale.
