The Niche template adds a message box to inform readers of pages that present niche topics. It also places the page in Category:Niche topics.
Usage
This template should be placed at the top of the page, without any argument:

While not arbitrary, it may contain ideas whose practical applications in music are unknown or narrow in scope. Niche topics are often developed by a single person or a small group. As such, this page may also contain idiosyncratic terms, notation, or conceptual frameworks. |
