Igliashon Jones does not identify with microtonality or the xenharmonic movement, but formerly was a very active participant in it. He recorded several albums of microtonal music under the alias "City of the Asleep", but has attempted to disown them after deciding they were not consistent with his aesthetic goals and standards as a musician. He has concluded his exploration of alternative tuning systems and has settled on 15-tone equal temperament as being the one system that meets his criteria for an optimal alternative to 12-tone equal temperament. He is currently exploring its resources in greater depth.
