Template:Protected/doc
This template adds a message box to inform readers that a page is protected from editing. It also places the page in Category:Protected pages. It is a simplified version of Wikipedia's page protection template.
Please note that merely placing this template on a page will not make it protected or unprotected, as only administrators can protect or unprotect pages. See WP:PROTECT for more information.
Usage
This template should be placed at the top of protected pages without any argument.
