:: Hello, I am not familiar with English mathematics terminology, [[Fifthspan]] is an example counting "spans", not measuring the size of span. You know, "multiple-span bridge" has one or more pier and spans the river bank and the pier, and spans further. They are easy to distinguish in writing; the span of 9/8 is 203.9 cents, and ~9/8 is +2 span of ~3/2. (This is an example of duality between tuning space and interval space?)
