The High priority template displays a message box to inform readers of pages that are often seen by new users. It also places the page in Category:High-priority pages.

This template should be used on talk pages, in order to avoid cluttering pages as seen by visitors, considering that the message is targeted towards editors.

Usage

Simply add

to the top of a page's associated talk page, which shows

This is a page deemed to be of high priority for the Xenharmonic Wiki, as it is often seen by new users or easily accessed from the main page or sidebar. Edits made to this page will have a significantly larger impact than on other pages, and poorly-written content will stand out more.
