Every MOS with 55 or 86 notes generated by a neutral third has a generator greater than that which is in 31, meaning that it's not in the diamond monotone range of migration (9/7 vs 14/11). Although the 7th harmonic gets significantly better by such a generator, this reason is not enough to claim that these are the MOS sizes, because 7/6 gets almost equally worse. Also, the POTE temperament (which tunes small intervals better than CTE) has a generator which is less than 31's. |

Chords requiring tempering only by 81/80 are labeled didymic, by 121/120 biyatismic, by 176/175 valinorsmic, by 243/242 rastmic, and by 385/384 keenanismic. Chords which require any two of 81/80, 121/120 or 243/242 are labeled urania, and any two of 121/120, 176/175 or 385/384 zeus. | Chords requiring tempering only by 81/80 are labeled didymic, by 121/120 biyatismic, by 176/175 valinorsmic, by 243/242 rastmic, and by 385/384 keenanismic.
