Electra is a tritave-repeating rank-2 temperament in the 3.5.11.13 subgroup, with a generator near 15/11 or it's tritave complement 11/5. The name was given by CompactStar in analogy to the Sirius, Arcturus, and Canopus star names used for other tritave-repeating temperaments. It tempers out the commas 14641/14625 (the amount by which 3 11/5's exceed 117/11) and 1875/1859. It possesses MOS scales of the families 4L 3s<3/1>, 7L 4s<3/1>, and 7L 11s<3/1>.
