Zolugothic is a 17-note just intonation scale in the 2.3.7.11 subgroup. It can be used for an alternative fret arrangement on instruments such as the Turkish bağlama and the Persian setar. This allows one to play a number of different maqam-like scales that have a "flavor" different to that of the more common fret arrangements.
Zolugothic follows the traditional bağlama fretting arrangement closer than the related Zothogothic scale, making it a more reasonable choice as a middle-ground between novel and conservative.
